Founded in 1945; following the devastation of the Second World War, the United Nations organisation is one of international standing and is currently made up of 193 member states. Their mission; maintain international peace and security. The UN Security Council for Seychelles has the primary responsibility for international peace and security and their radio communication systems are no exception.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network, the Seychelles UNDP continue to strengthen the capacity of the respective Governments and civil society and advocate for change, knowledge, experience, and resources, helping people to build a better life. We have been supporting and delivering professional systems in Seychelles for many years, our current project has been focusing our attention on the end users. Our groundwork has begun and so far during the installation, we have delivered our highest standards and met each expected deadline.
Since our involvement with the United Nations in Seychelles, we have successfully installed a digital radio system for the Seychelles Police Force, which allowed the 4 main islands to be interconnected via a microwave link. The islands of Mahé, Praslin, and La Dique are now accessible, creating a future for the people which offers equality, dignity, and opportunity.
Collaborating with the United Nations in Seychelles our Aim for this project was to improve the radio system capacity for the Police Force so they can deal with the upcoming events within multiple talk groups simultaneously and benefit from inter-island encrypted radio coverage.
During the recent elections, we can report that the radio network performed at 100%, before, during and after the National Assembly, while we were on the island we provided support for their system in the Northern part of Mahé and we are pleased to say that we improved their radio coverage. Our team and our client are very satisfied with the effectiveness of the work we provided within a short deadline.
Driving the communication revolution; for a safer world!
