Yes it is that time of year again where the Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Pennines is looming ahead so we hope you’re ready to welcome the winter season in pure cycling style. Are you up for the challenge then why not get involved this year? Alternatively, you may know someone who would like a chance, let them know this is the last event this year!
The Etape Pennines is an 84 mile cycle challenge taking place on traffic-free roads in the stunning scenery of County Durham and will be taking place on the 6th October, 2013. Communication Specialists are proud to be supporting this cycling event with management communications once more!
Registration Day is Saturday at the Barnard Castle, County Durham, you must attend the registration to collect your event pack! Sunday will see the start time of 07.25am at the Barnard Castle Golf Club, there is free parking on existing hard standing car parks which are located very close the the start (literally 100m away!), there are 700 spots available.
The start and finish this year has changed since 2012 so please make sure you plan your travel information well in advance so you don’t end up in the wrong place! A map of the course is shown below
